Can I put this on my Job Applications?

Question

I took a College Course of Business Management in 2012 I didn't graduate the course but, I did receive a certificate from Technology Foundations in Business math saying I completed my hours. Can I put that certificate on my job applications?

My family tells me yes! Just want to make sure.

Anything completed and relevant should be on a resume.

What job are you applying for? I don't see a reason to put this in your resume. It would be like anyone applying for something and listing their college courses. Like, "Hi, I'm applying for this job. I have taken and successfully passed my composition classes, lit classes, math, and sciences." Unless it's directly relevant to the job you're applying for, it just seems like something for them that shows you didn't finish the program which to an employer will reflect lack of commitment. I mean, it's like having someone apply to be a paramedic and on their resume say they never completed the program but are cpr certified.

You didn't finish the class? Or was this a business management degree with several courses? If it's just one class then I don't think it's relevant for a resume. If you started a major, took a bunch of classes, but didn't finish completely, then maybe that's relevant on your resume. But not one unfinished class.
