Pineapple for inducing labor 🍍???

Question

Anyone use pineapple for inducing labor? I'm 36 weeks baby's measuring 3 weeks ahead id like to hear some stories id like to start the process so anything about inducing would be helpful so come in ladies let me here some. And no negative comments please and thank you :)

The part of the pineapple that contains the effective chemical (bromelain) is the core. The core tastes terrible. It also doesn't contain very much bromelain, so I read that you'd have to eat something like 8-10 pineapples in a day for it to work. I ate 2 whole pineapples trying to go into labor. Including the cores. It didn't work and it made my mouth feel awful. I don't recommend it.

I ate fresh pineapple till my mouth was raw and my son still came a week late. Babies come when they are good n ready

Lol it's not that simple Hun. Babies come o  their own if pineapples made people go into labor there would be no need for inductions....your baby will come when she/he is ready

I took a tablespoon of castor oil and mixed it with ice cream and ate it and with two different pregancies 3 years apart they both came within hours of me taking it :) good luck

I've ate two huge bowls of fresh pineapple and all that did for me was make me feel sick! But I've been trying everything like spicy food, bouncing on a excersize ball, and sex but nothing seems to be working for me. Good luck (:

Worked with me twice. Could be coincidence. But I was in labor within a few hours. I didn't mind, because I love fresh pineapple anyways 😜
