Are muslim swaddle blankets

the same as recieving blankets ? I recieved some muslim swaddle blankets as a Christmas gift for my son and was wondering if I can use them as a recieving blanket or not ? Sorry if it's a stupid question! I'm just curious, if they're not the same so I can go buy some recieving blankets
