Glider or glider and ottoman?

Ftm, really don't know what to expect. Is it worth the extra money to get the ottoman? I'm going to be having a C-section and don't really know if I'll even get any use of the ottoman until I'm healed. Help?

Myself I don't really like or use the ottomans whenever I have sat in a glider. I don't like my body and my feet all moving around lol I feel like feet on the ground provides more stability and better rocking

I got the glider and a nursing foot stool instead of the ottoman. The Ottoman was over 250$ and the stool was 30$ and it takes up much less space too and can be moved around the house if you want to use it while you sit on the couch or something. If you plan to breast feed using something whether it be a ottoman or a stool is important for proper posture. If you are not breast feeding it isn't as important.

For around$20, you can get a foot stool that can change the angle of your feet. This was clutch for my first baby to get a good position for breast feeding. I tried using the glider's ottoman, but it was just too wiggly

I used the hell out of a glider. It made feeding so much easier on me. I would put a boppy nursing pillow on my stomach and let baby on it while he ate
