How many of you let your pet sleep with you on the bed? Do you think it's safe?

My dog sleeps in bed with me.  I sleep so much better when he is right next to me. And he's a good sleeper so he will still be right there after baby is born.

Yes my 100 something pound Rottweiler sleeps with us but the husband is trying to break her from the habit because of the baby. But I'm against it. And he thinks now that I'm getting bigger she lays on me sometime that she will accidentally hurt me. I love her too much to not wake up to her!

My cats both sleep on our bed. One at our feet and the other curls up next to my chest. I feel like it's safe because the moment I move the cats get up out of the way

I honestly think I sleep better with my fur babies nearby. When my SO gets up for work early, I tend to get upset he's leaving (thanks, hormones for making me needy. 😂) However, my animals stay and cuddle up with me. It makes mornings as a hormonal pregnant person much easier to handle. I have a 75lb love muffin of a pitbull, a cat, and occasionally a pot bellied pig - he's much more independent, so he doesn't always feel he needs to come to bed.

Oh yes!  My 80 pound lab mix is snuggled up to me right now. She likes morning cuddles ❤

I've got 3 dogs and they all sleep on the bed. I don't see it changing anytime soon. They are my first kids. :-)

I meant yes, it's safe. We just don't let our 80lb Shepard/husky mix sleep in bed with us because there's no room

We allow my cats to sleep on the bed currently. However once we get closer to my due date, we are going to be shutting them out of the room to get used to it since the baby will be sleeping in our room for several months.

My cats are great and we rarely have any issues with them. One of them just sleeps in between us which doesn't disturb us, but the other two will sleep right next to our backs or on our feet, which causes us to not get restful (or much) sleep.
