How to get over your ex of five years?

My boyfriend and I broke up yesterday after five years. Although this isn't the first time we said we were done and gotten back together I do feel this time we are really done we had a really bad fight and I'm scared we are done forever. How do I move on?

I just recently ended it with my high school sweetheart (more like asshole). We dated 5 years also but by the time I left I was ready to. He had told me to put his key on the table in the living room so I had enough and I packed my things and left and once I was done I put the key where he asked and I texted him and told him I had moved out and he flipped his shit. Our relationship had run its course and it was toxic as hell and I finally saw that. That was what helped me move on. Seeing that I could live without him in my life daily.

Only you can determine that. Before I was married and had break ups, advice was always given and it was good advice. But a lot of the time, that advice didn't really work for me. The one thing I do like to say to others in your poisition, the one thing that can pretty much be related to anyone.. Take the time to grieve the end of your relationship. Make sure you take the time to heal, don't jump into anything else to speed up the process because it wont work. I'm so sorry y'all broke up and I hope you find some peace.
