I admit, I am ignorant and uneducated on the topic of otherkin. I believe it's possible when they say they are animal spirits in human bodies. But I get confused when some claim to be mythological creatures like dragons and angels. I blame my confusion on my ignorance. But I can't help but feel that maybe some people are taking a movement and mocking it when they make these outrageous claims. And I feel like I come off as being prejudice because of how I feel. I'm not. I support everyone's right to be who they truly are. But my lack of knowledge makes me question some aspects of otherkin and I feel bad for those who are otherkin and are serious about their belief.
