First day of period or first Sunday?

My doctor just prescribed me the birth control pills but the told me that I could choose between first Sunday or the first day of period... Wich one is best girls? And why? Please! 🙏🙏

I started mine on the Sunday. Its much easier to keep track of (though some birth control packets have different labels so you can change the days) 
starting on Sunday doesn't mean you're not going to ever have a period on a weekend. I have mine on weekends every now and then. But if your period starts before the Sunday comes then just go ahead and start now!

If you start with your period you'll be protected right away, which is nice.

If you start on a Sunday you need to wait 7 days (unless your period also started), but it is easier to follow the pack since they start on Sunday's, and it also means you probably won't usually have a period on the weekend.
