Hi guys! I'm 15 and I just became sexually active about a week ago. I've been bugging my dad and asking him to make an appointment for the doctors to get me on birth control, telling him it's because of my period, I told him its irregular, I cramp a lot and it helps with acne. (which is all true) But the main reason I want it is to practice safe sex, but my dad would kill me if he found out I was having sex so I can't tell him the real reason. He told me that I could make an appointment for the doctors and we can talk to them about my period and if the doctor thinks it's necessary then he will put me on it. how can I tell my doctor that it's for sex without my dad finding out? Will they tell my dad or is there anyway of him knowing that I lied to him and I'm sexually active? Should I just tell my doctor it's for my period? What if the doctor says no, I don't want to risk pregnancy? Please help and give me some advice!!! thank you!
