Just how expensive are babies?
Is it really as bad as my mother's making it out to be? She means well but I'm getting a bit freaked out about how much our budgeting and saving attempts might become useless once a baby comes. So far we have saved up enough to cover medical bills but what's it really like once you're home with the baby and it all begins?
Where does the bulk of expenses come from?
Am I naiive in thinking I can survive on baby hand-me-downs from friends/coworkers and buying used items online?
I mean of course I'd want to have nice things for my child but I don't think it's necessary to have the latest $1000 model stroller, ya know?
