Implantation Bleeding or menstrual cycle?

I'm so confused! My husband and I just found out we were pregnant about 10 days ago on Jan 22. My last menstrual cycle was only 2 days long that started on Dec 21...One day of brown spotting and a day of light bleeding. My cycle before thy started Nov 19 with 4 days of medium flow. I can't see my doctor for another 3 weeks and it's killing me because I want to know how far I am. Was that implantation or a "real" period?
