Day night confusion? ☀️

My six week old baby is a delight during the day. Content sleepy happy .. Even hard to wake up .. Overnight is the opposite she can be fussy, feeds more regually,difficult to settle,has worse gas.. Doesn't like to sleep and wakes easily when she is asleep.

Trying to keep it light in the day and not be as fun at night...

Has anyone got any tips or has anyone had something similar and seen a change around 6-8 weeks..?!! Please reply if you have id love some positive news! Thanks

Sounds like a growth spurt to me! Our little one has been doing the same thing! The good news is it won't last too long ;)

My little guy is the same way at 5 weeks. We are still working on it. We just try to engage him as much as possible when he's awake and alert. Of course we let him sleep though when he's tired but we try to stimulate him. When it comes to night time I give him a little baby massage with lotion when I get him into jammies and a bath every other day. He really likes being swaddled still and it helps him settle down and sleep longer. Last night he screamed for a while so I rocked him and settled him down and swaddled him up and placed him in bed next to me and dragged a tissue lightly across his face and he passed out. In the middle of the night I keep lights to a minimum and I don't really talk to him while changing and feeding and I only hold him for a few minutes and then swaddle him back up and rub his face a little and he usually goes back to sleep quickly. He only woke up twice last night. Hope some of these tricks can work for you. It's rough and my little guy is fussy during the day too lol.

This happened to my son since week five. He was sleeping so great. Going 5 hours between feedings at night and now I'm lucky if he goes 3!!

I had the exact same problem... Day time life was so easy at night she would scream for hours on end and didn't want to stop. At 7 weeks were now sleeping through the night. She still crys sometimes if she wants to co sleep with us but once I give in (I always do lol) she knocks right out
