Hey ladies I'm a little undecided on VBAC

Well I have had 2 vaginal deliveries and 1 C-section with my twin boys. I wanted to know what's everyone's view on VBAC. One Dr said I was a good candidate but then said oh it's a 1% chance that you will die. So I switched my Dr because who really tells your patient that ( I mean those were his exact words) But anywho just wanted to know everyone's take on the topic. Thanks in advance
