How did you announce your BFP to your husband or SO?

I haven't gotten a BFP but when I do I want to do this.

No BFP yet (hoping I will in a few days time) but I have been thinking about it a lot and none of the announcements that I've seen online really jumped out at me. So, I think what I'm going to do is get up real early to take the test, bring our dog inside and let her up into our bed (which is a HUGE deal to me, I do not let her in our room EVER) which hubby will love and as he's cuddling her I'm just going to say 'we're pregnant' and have the test on my night stand. I picked this way because this will be our first baby and I think we will both need a minute or two to let it sink in and there's no better way than to be cuddling in bed. I think it's nice and intimate 😊

I'm planning an entire announcement drawer 😀 Can't wait! He'll cry buckets 😄
I'm going to clear out one drawer in our bedroom. Line it with scented polka dot paper and put in a stack of gorgeous baby items: tiny panda socks (I call him panda), newborn onesies, hooded bath towel, first years brush & comb, rattle, picture books, tiny handmade crocheted baby hats, topknot beanie, an Irish wool baby throw with shamrocks & sheep (he's Irish). One of the hats was crocheted in Dublin too, ordered through Etsy.
I've lined up a message with a local calligrapher to make a vitreous keepsake card that starts by saying 'Alan darling, guess who we've made?' I plan to send him to get something from the drawer randomly, and want to capture it on film 😍
