Miscarriage? Or normal?

Had a shocking moment yesterday when I went to the bathroom and saw spotting! 
I thought right away: this is it! Someone cheered too soon. 😩

I am 5 weeks 2 days. No cramps, no symptoms what so ever.
My friend had 4 kids and had spotting until week 14 with all of them (all turned out to be healthy babies).
Called my doctor for an appointment and they scheduled me for next week. They told me it was very common to spot and there is no need to be concerns unless it starts bleeding.

Anyone else experiencing spotting during pregnancy? Really concerned I am miscarrying 😥

Spotting is normal and can vary from light pink, to deep red and brown.

Dr told me it can be normal. I started spotting brown off and on for a week before it got heavier which resulted in me miscarrying. I am now pregnant with my rainbow baby.

Bright red bleeding for at least 30 min (every time I wiped) at 7 weeks with my first. Went to ER and saw the heartbeat for the first time there and I now have a healthy 15 month old! It's so much more common than you think (I've heard 1 in 4 women have some kind of spotting or bleeding - normally early due to implantation). We just found out we are pregnant w/ our second & I fear the same thing all the time but now know how 'normal' it can be! Don't worry mama!!

I have had spotting in my first pregnancy which resulted in miscarriage. My 2nd pregnancy I passed bright red clots but have a healthy 10 month old. This pregnancy I spotted and all is fine.  It can be normal but sometimes it isn't.  I would say you're totally fine. It's. Good you got an appointment

Spotting too. My doctor is checking my levels and put me on progesterone. I had a miscarriage in August. I'm a wreck right now. Just praying for a miracle

I'm 4w4d pregnant and I'm having light brown spotting...I went to the doctor today to confirm my pregnancy and told her I was spotting and she assured me that it's pretty normal and not to worry unless I start heavy bleeding
