Confuse

Early this month i had my period, but it wasn't a normal one...it came on time which was the 15 and i bleed that day. Woke up the next morning and i wasn't bleeding at all for hours, but later on that day around 12 i started bleeding again but not heavy and by night time it was a brownish color ..Usually my period last three days, but this one was a day..so i want to know have anyone ever experience this?
