Weird period

So today I started my period and usually I am quite regular however this time I was a week early and it is very light and normally it is heavier than this.... I don't really understand what's going on because I'm not on any medication that could effect it and I've had my periods for about 4 years now.. Has anyone experiences something like this or has any clue what is going on???
