My son is six years old and is in kindergarten and got in a fight for the first time today. They told me he hit one of he's classmates really bad in his face. My son told me what happened he said that he was playing and Anthony the boy he hit that he hit him first with his leg on he's back and one of the other kids that was their playing with them told my son to hit him back and my son did. My son has never got in any problems like this before and he knows better that fighting doesn't resolve anything I told him he should've have told he's teacher the moment that kid hit him first instead of listening to the other kid of hitting him back I don't know how to react or what should I do about this he was crying and telling me I'm very sorry mom for what I did should I be really angry at him or what should I do. I already talk to him and told him that what that kid did to you wasn't right but it wasn't right either what you did to him too I'm very concern any advices I will really appreacited.
