Contractions?

So ladies... I've had contractions a steady 5 min apart for the past 50 minutes for 40-70 seconds, but I don't know if I should head to the hospital as honestly... They haven't been very painful in my opinion. What do you ladies think? FTM so I honestly don't know!

That was me for 7 hours a few nights ago only my mine were painful and 3 minutes apart. I was told I wasn't in labor and sent home. Drink lots of water.

The paperwork my doc gave me says 5-7 min apart contractions for 2 hours

That's how I was for four hours on Sat went in was checked and monitored for 90 minutes and sent home because I want making progress they told me when they are 5 minutes and you can't walk or talk through them to go back in...yup have had painful contractions every 5-20 mins since but I can walk and talk through most so I'm still home good luck

The hospital will always tell you to come in for monitoring...liability.  There's really no telling because everyone laboratory so differently but honestly real labor is like getting a limb ripped off...for hours.  Haha that's what it was like for me the first time!  You will know when it's time to go...if you can't talk through them go in!

I've been having contractions since 3:30 this am they told me to go to hospital. I was monitored for about a hour and they said your in labor but my cervix isn't fully softened yet so they sent me home. Also having contractions 5/6 minutes apart. Ugh this sucks, my body needs to hurry up. Good luck to you and happy delivery!!
