So frustrated!
I'm 40+2, induction scheduled for Saturday. Went to an appointment this am and she didn't even check my cervix. For the past 5 hours I've had very consistent AND PAINFUL period like cramps with my stomach getting roooccck hard, nothing like my Braxton Hicks. I called my midwife to check in and because my cramps are only about 30 seconds long and 3-5 minutes apart, they say it's just pre labor and I should wait it out at home. I was told that real labor contractions will be 60-90 seconds and keep me from talking or walking. Maybe I'm just being neurotic but wtf? This is my first pregnancy and I'm kind of freaking out. I've been to the birthing center twice for false alarms so I feel like they're really wanting something to be happening before I come in but gaahhh I just want answers.
