Please help. I have a 4 day old who constantly is asking to nurse. My milk hasn't come in and I have no idea if I'm producing enough colostrum. I don't hear him swallowing, his diaper counts are low, and he can't be consoled when he isn't nursing. I am going to the pediatrician tomorrow, but I am desperate for help. The longest he has gone is an hour, and that was only once. Average feeding times are 20-30 minutes with maybe a 10 minute break in between sessions.
