Trying to get pregnant, my bf has sickle cell I don't can I still get pregnant?

Sickle cell anemia is a blood disorder where the red blood cells are frail and useless, think "sick"le cell. It shouldn't effect his sperm.

I would test your for a carrier.. Doesn't matter if you have symptoms or not.. Its genetic.. If you don't your kids will not have it but they could be carriers themselves...
