What's your experience with the shots? Symptoms? I'm thinking of getting one.

I have been on the shot for 1 year and I love it. However, I have been fortunate - no periods and no side reflects

I completely regret getting the shot! Do your research before getting it, because sometime people love the shot, I personally hated it, I had the worst mood swings and you can't control anything about the shot at all. My last shot was August 6 2015 and I'm still waiting to get my period back.
