I went in to be induced at 5 am 2/1/16. And I have to say the birth was the easiest. I was a 3 when they checked the first time and broke my water. After that I got a lot of pitocin. Around 12 I had dilated all the way to an 8.(i made it all the way to a 6 before getting an epidural. Everyone was scaring me about how much it would hurt).My little Noah weighted 7 pounds and 6 oz @ 3:14pm. I pushed for about and hour and 15 minutes. With a second degree tear.They said he was supposed to be a big baby,9 pounds? why is he way smaller? Well almost 30 minutes after delivery I started bleeding like no one's business. I lost 2.5 liters before I even hit the surgical table. They wanted to do a dnc which I was fine with!! I didn't wake up till 10pm just to find out that I had lost over half my body's blood. I was so thankful for all the awesome nurses and drs. My family was looking their minds but I didn't care I was alive!! I took 2 blood transfusions I think maybe three. Because of the shot they have me (twice) I've been up all night with the runs and my poor baby's sugar is so low that I can't breast feed!!:( hopefully I will get through this morning and be able to eat and walk by noon :) I love my baby so much!!
