Did you spot when you got IUD or implant?

Hi ladies! I'm considering my options. Currently on the pill and no real complaints, but I'm thinking about a longer lasting option. What are your experiences with the implant or IUD?? Did you bleed a lot, and for how long? Because if I'm going to ruin all my underwear and mess with my sex life then I don't think I want it haha.

I had the Mirena placed 5 weeks after I had my son... a year and a half ago. After suffering from constant cramping, severe pain during sex, horrible mood swings, headaches, extreme fatigue, ZERO sex drive, and weight gain (I had lost all my baby weight before having my IUD placed, I now weigh more than I did at 40+ weeks pregnant) I finally got it removed this last Monday after fighting to have it removed all this time because my doctor didn't believe me that it was causing so much trouble because it was in it's  correct place! Come to find out, I was NEVER a candidate for the Mirena due to an autoimmune disease, but the company just recently released that information! PLEASE if you are thinking about getting the Mirena, do TONS of research and make 100000% sure that you are eligible for it!!
