Your induce story?

I want to hear your induce stories! I'm getting induced 2/10/16 I'm a FTM and I'm scared! 38 weeks exactly today!

I was induced for both my kids. My first I was induced the day after his due date. From the time the portion started to his birth was 13 hours. I don't think the contractions were horrible. I got an epidural at 8cm. However I sat up not knowing I should of laid down after so I couldn't feel to push. Dr used vacuum to help. 
Second child I was induced on her due date. From start to birth was 4hrs 45 min. This time the dr. Gave epidural before she broke water which was good because that's uncomfortable. Pitocin was upped every 30 minutes until contractions 2 min. Apart.  I took a nap and when I woke I could feel pressure. Dr came in said time to push. After about 10 min of pushing she used vacuum to help delivery. I did have episiotomy with both. Recovery was easier second time. 
I can't compare it to delivery without being induced but I did like knowing when I was going into labor.

I asked to be induced with my second one because I was so huge and had gained so much weight I was terribly uncomfortable. I was only induced 4 days early but when he was born he ended up weighing 10lbs 2 oz! I received pitocin and within an hour I was ready for my epidural. Within four hours of receiving pitocin I delivered!

I was induced 5 days before my due date due to high blood pressure. I was induced with cervidil which is something that they put way up into your cervix to help soften it (its painful going in!) It was just supposed to get me ready to dilate they leave it in for 12 hours then take it out but with me I started having contractions 9 hours into it so they took it out and I was dilated to 4 and they tired to start piticion but my IV kept messing up and by the time they got it fixed I was ready to push!! Was only in labor for 7 hours and 5 pushes he was out!
