Diaper Bag Alternatives?

Question

Anyone opting to use something other than a diaper bag as their diaper bag?

I'm trying to find a diaper bag big enough for both toddler essentials, baby essentials, and mommy essentials. But none of the "official" diaper bags are actually big enough! So I was thinking about using a BIG handbag or a weekender bag, but even then I don't really know where to start!

Beach bag or a fashionable back pack. I was a nanny and used a really pretty oversized leather and canvas beach bag for both baby and toddler things as well as my wallet keys sunglasses and water bottle.

We got the Henri Bendel West 57th baby bag, it's huge with tons of compartments & a cross body strap, plus I love that it doesn't look like a traditional diaper bag ❤️

I just use a backpack. I was sick of one shoulder things that kept falling off while I was trying to get my baby

I am using a petunia pickle bottom wistful weekender. It is huge and is great for my two year old and a newborn. I pack it for the day as my son goes to work with me and still have room for more stuff.

We found a diaper bag that is actually a back pack! It's great, has lots of space and tons of compartments.

I used a diaper bag with my first. Then, when we had 2 under 2, we switched to a backpack. As my youngest has gotten older, I now use a nice tote bag or purse instead.  I never really liked my diaper bag, I found I carried too much crap that I didn't actually need.

My husband bought me the one I had been eyeing from Pottery Barn, when it came in it was huge, a lot bigger than I expected. I had an average diaper bag from my first child and in comparison, this is one can definitely fit all the baby essentials and anything else you'll want to add
