What should I do?

My boyfriend and I got into a big fight he told me he was done. He caused the fight by being insecure and he accused me of smiling at me phone and texting another guy.  We do this often where we say we're done but aren't. We haven't talked in about 3 days last time we texted I text him first. How much longer should I wait to text him? Or should I wait to see if he will text me?

That is a pretty immature reaction to a fight. You both need to work on how you fight. Stick around, and don't threaten leaving the person....unless you really mean it's  actually over...

Wait until he messages you first. You can't do ALL the work in a relationship. It's give and take, sometimes he has to do the giving.
I would have a sit down conversation with him (in person) and as him if he truly wants to be with you or not. 
If he says yes then tell him that he NEEDS to work on his insecurities or else the relationship isn't going to work. Ask him how he would feel if you always accused him of cheating and such.

And if he says he doesn't want to be with you, delete his number right hen and there. Do NOT go back to him. Don't do it.

You need to talk to him. Seeing as I don't know what the fight was about then I can not give any advice but if you don't want it to be over then talk to him.
