Appointment letter

I'm 7 weeks and had an initial doctors appointment last week. Where I live you have to see a doctor first. He didn't do much except chat and take my blood pressure and weight but told me I'd hear from the hospital with all the other information. He didn't say how long it would take.

I expected some confirmation/ information from the hospital by now but haven't heard anything yet. It's my first pregnancy so I'm not sure what happens. When did everyone hear back about appointments?
