Ectopic pregnancy

I found I was pregnant just two days after Christmas.... I was so excited to post in this group when I thought I was and the other group when it was confirmed! But weeks later I went in for my first US and the dr didn't see anything... They drew blood... And more blood two days later. Hcg levels went up, so I was called in for another US a week later. Still nothing... But they drew more blood. Two days later my dr. Calls me with results, HCG levels continue to rise. She then thinks it's an ectopic pregnancy and advises me to come first thing that morning. It was confirmed on Jan 22 that the baby was in my tubes at 7wks 3days... Yall, this has been SOO hard on me and my family. We've already lost our little girl, Aubrey, to SIDS at only 19 days old. The doctor says we need to wait 3-4 months before trying again. Has anyone felt with an ectopic pregnancy? Not miscarriage. Thoughts? Advise?
