17 need best form of birth control

hey, im 17 and i have two children... Both in which were concieved while on the pill and using condoms! I am 100% using and taking the pill at the correct time and the condoms obviously ripped. Ive been to the doctor and he said that the pill obviously doesnt work for me, and i should use something else such as the bar in your arm?
