36 weeks - 90% effaced and 1 cm dilated
I had my first internal exam this morning, and I was surprised to hear that I am 90% effaced! The midwife hypothesizes that my baby (first time
mom here) will be here before her due date. I do know that there's no telling how soon or far off labor could be for me, but I would love to hear anyone's experiences of how much longer it was before labor after this kind of effacement!
