Confusion is setting in...

I typically have an average cycle of 25 days. I was supposed to start around Monday and I had a small amount of pink streaks after using the restroom on Monday morning. Nothing since then. I even wore a tampon on Monday, thinking I was starting my period and the tampon was completely clean when removed. I took a pregnancy test this morning and it was negative. I am confused. Where is my period!!?!
