Feeding
When should I start my baby on solids? How do I know she’s ready? Babies are typically ready to start solids around six months of age. Some babies may be ready a little earlier than six months, just be sure to follow their cues. Some signs of readiness to eat include:
She has good head control and is able to sit up in a high chair (this is preferable over holding her in your lap for a feeding)
She starts to get hungry between feeds or doesn’t seem to be getting enough from breastmilk/formula and still seems hungry.
She watches you eat and seems interested in your food.
She opens her mouth when she sees food coming.
