Self-harm.

I can't stop.
I've slipped right back into the hole I dug myself out of years ago.
It started with just scratching with a needle, but I feel like it's not good enough anymore.
What can I do?
I don't want to hurt myself.
Counselling doesn't work, my partner knows and is doing his best, my mum doesn't know...I can't tell her. She won't understand. She didn't last time.
Help.

You have to preoccupy your mind with things that make you happy. I used to be a cutter and it's been 2 years since I have cut. It's been a  rough battle and I've had a lot of triggers, you just can't let them get to you. Try exercising. It's the number 1 stress reliever/mood stabalizer. Next time you feel like cutting, take a walk or a run. Enjoy the nature around you. Also, talk to someone or write in a journal/diary about the things you feel inside. Its better to get things out into the open than to keep it all bottled up inside. I hope this helps and I really wish you the best!  💕I

Look up the butterfly project.. It helped me. Also whenever you have the urge, distract yourself. Don't get caught up in the feelings, the voices, the urges. You're better than this and you will get through it just as you've done in the past

If you like reading, read as much as possible. That helped me so much because  I was doing something else and well I could get absorbed by my book, but if not a thing that works for me is a rubber band on my wrist:) I really hope you get better soon💗
