I know its like the most cliche saying ever for dieting, but my husband was told on monday by his doctor after a full blood panel that his bad cholesterol is over 300, his blood pressure is extremely high, and his liver enzymes are double the normal level. They put him on cholesterol medication, high blood pressure medication, and was told he really should abstain from alcohol and tylenol completely because of his liver. Hes freaking 33. Not even old at all! Im going to completely change our diet and start us on an active schedule to get us and the kids out of the house. I use so much butter and unhealthy things in my cooking. So far ive boiled a bunch of eggs and made a bunch of grilled chicken cut up in the fridge to throw in salads for him so he doesnt go get taco shop for lunch every day. I need healthy ideas for dinners besides chicken and a vegetable!
