Tubes tied?

Anyone have their tubes tied? The dr mentioned they could do it along w my c section just wondering if anyone had this done and if you would recommend it? I only want two kids and already have one. (I'm 35 and my husband will be 40 when this baby is born so we really don't want more).

I had a tubal when I had my c section on January 1. The doctor said it took less than 5 minutes to do and it's super easy to do it during a c section because everything is right there. I do not regret it one bit!

I've had 3 natural births and am planning a 4th but in the case of a csection my dr has noted in my chart I want my tubes tied and my hubby knows to make it known also. 4 is our magic number. I'm 28 but totally done.  If I don't have my tubes tied my husband has agreed to a vasectomy.  :)

For those that have had it done any issues w your periods after or pretty much the same as normal.

I will be having a scheduled csection and tubal ligation on Monday.  A few people at work told me that healing time was almost the same, with no complications.  Hopefully, mine goes just as well.
