Jump starting labor?

Question

Anyone going to try and jump start labor when they reach 36-37 weeks? If so what are you going to try? Im all for baby cooking as long as she will but with my blood pressure starting to rise and the size of baby, doctor says he wont stop labor if it starts after 36 weeks.

Ladies, PLEASE!

Let your baby come when they are ready. Even though you are full term at 37 weeks, the lungs are one of the last systems to fully develop. If they are not ready to come out yet, do not force them!! They may be still growing!

If you have medical indications and need to deliver early, that is one thing but forcing yourself to go into labor early is NOT a smart idea. Please do some research, we all want our babies NOW but please let them grow and develop at their pace so we can all have beautiful and healthy babies. It will be worth the wait I promise you!

Where do i begin i did everything you could read on the internet trying to start labor and my 9 month old came at 41 weeks.
Do not...and i repeat do not take castor oil is nasty and disgusting and makes you sick as heck and can make your child have a bowel movement in the womb 
Walk a lot a mean a lot (add bounce to your step)
Idk if these two helped at all but i ate a lot of pineapple and took primrose oil oral and suppository they both are suppose to help thin out you cervix

Starting at 37 weeks I plan to do a LOT OF walking this is my first baby so who knows if it will help her along or not but I hope so! I just hope it warms up a bit in 2 weeks so I can walk outside.

I am scared to have sex, since we haven't in a couple months...We are both too tired, but want to. I am afraid my body will decide to take it as time to go into labor. Ugh...We didn't have sex for 5 months after our son was born. I wonder if it will be the same again.

Not necessarily trying to jump start anything, but I am trying to prepare my body for labor. I've began drinking raspberry leaf tea nightly and will continue till the end of the pregnancy, and also gotten the okay from a midwife to begin taking evening primrose oil capsules both orally and vaginally at 36 weeks. There are very good feedback and positive stories around these two things all over the Internet and also YouTube. I did lots of research and made sure I spoke to my OB and a midiwife before beggining though. I am not a high risk pregnancy and this is my first baby. ❤️ Good luck to you!

I will walk and walk or at least try to and sex with my boyfriend. I told him about speeding up labor and he had a smile from ear to ear.
