car seat for chevy cruze?

anyone with a chevy cruze, what infant seat and convertible (rear to front facing) car seats did you or are you using that fits good behind the front seats without having them pulled up 100%

I'm pretty sure all the years are about the same size so comment with any year, it'll at least help me narrow down my search.

but for those who don't have a small car like the cruze, the back seat is super small and I'm not the only person having problems with an infant seat fitting with the base even with the front seat all the way up.

I drove a ways out to a fire station and they even said I installed the base properly but my car is to small to use both base and car seat. the car seat itself doesn't fit behind the front seats, not even in the middle (which is where I'd prefer it) even with the seats all the way up.

so I either have to get a new car seat or use the car seat without the base and constantly buckle it up everytime I take the baby out.

and I'll eventually run into this problem with a convertible seat so I need help on finding one of those that will fit when rear facing. I'm even considering just using a all in 1 infant to booster if I can find one that reclines enough for the infant but still fits behind my seat without eating the dash since I'll be spending more money anyway, and I think it'll be eaiser to just leave the seat in the car than having to install the infant one every time.

I have the eddie bauer sure fit II right now that isn't fitting with the base.
