How early to take pregnancy test?

My husband and I have been TTC for just one month now. AF was due on Feb 4th (3 days ago) and still isn't here. This is just our first time trying so I don't want to get too excited but how long should I wait before taking a pregnancy test? Any input would be helpful! Thanks :)

So af was due the 30th of jan tested and got negative now in my second ovulating cycle when should i get another test
