SUPER emotional coming off BC?

Has anyone noticed after they went off birth control they became super emotional? I've been off for a week today and this whole past week every thing made me either sad or angry. Even things that normally wouldn't bother me. It's driving me nuts and this is the only explanation I can think of.

Off bc I finally feel like I ca get a grip on my emotions, I was much crazier before now I am mindful of how I am feeling. Transitioning wasn't the easiest give it time

It's your hormones regulating and your body getting back into the swing of things. Hormonal bc actually stops your body from creating it's own hormones as it fills your system with synthetics. Your system must then "relearn" to regulate naturally. Be patient with yourself and the side effects you experience. It can take a few months for things to normalize. Try supplementing with magnesium and zinc. The body often becomes deficient in certain vitamins and minerals while on bc. Supplementing can help you get back to a normal cycle faster.

Yes. I was terrible. It lasted around a month and I felt awful the whole time,  very low, emotional, angry, no patience and irritable.
