Ultrasound measuring 2 weeks behind?

I went in when I thought I was 7w2d according to my LMP.. The gestational sac was the size of 5w2d.. No baby or heartbeat visible. Anyone had a similar situation and it come out positive?

I went for a scan with my first at 5 weeks and there was just a sac no baby I was devestated they told me to go back in a week for another scan telling me a week can make a big difference. I went home and thought it's gone was heartbroken. Anyway I went back that next week and baby and heart beat 😀 good luck x

I am in the same situation. We are running more blood tests this week and I have my next u/s on the 19th. I am so scared and at the same time want to trust it's all going to be ok! I hope it turns out all good for you !

I'm so happy you shared I'm in the same situation :( glow says I'm 6weeks today .I went into the er on Friday in a lot of pain no bleeding . I had an ultrasound and I'm measuring  under five weeks  There is a sac  they see the cells in my right tube   where my pain is but no baby yet :( I had a cyst that burst cause I have flowed behide my uterus . my levels are 6800 hcg which they said was good and the pain is probably from my endo . I  I'm so scared this is my first time I was in the er for 10 hrs I was do tierd and haven't been able to sleep  . I pray everything works out . I go in tomorrow to have my levels checked again . my thoughts and prayers with you ladies  my hope is  we all have healthy babies .

Same here glow told me I'm 6 weeks and when I went to my first appointment they said I was only 5 weeks and 3 days and just only saw the sack I have my next appointment this Friday so I hope we see something

You probably ovulated later than you thought. Go back in 2 weeks for another US because they can't always see everything at 5 weeks.

I just went to the doctor today at a projected 8wks. Found out I'm only measuring at 6wks. We were actually able hear a heartbeat, but it appeared to have just started beating.  Many baby heartbeats aren't detected before 8 weeks. Everything will be fine! Take care.

I went in today thinking I was 7w2days and there was a sac but no baby and the dr said he thinks I'm more like 5weeks and to come back in two weeks. He's a family friend and I asked him if I should be nervous and he said, "honestly I really think you're just behind. I really wouldn't worry." He offered to do a blood test and said to only do it to comfort me instead of insisting that I do it. He also said this is super common. So I'm praying we are okay! Keep me updated! 😘

My dr is going off my LMP, which is putting me at 6 weeks, however I know that I have longer cycles, which means I ovulate later that what's considered "standard". So when they do my u/s two weeks from now, I expect the same outcome as you in terms of not being as far along as they say I am

I just went off on the nurse today telling them they should tell you they have to put the reason for the ultrasound & bloodtests are "threatened miscarriage" to prevent their patients from getting charged for the visit while you wait for the baby to get bigger, not because there's a threatened miscarriage. When the ultrasound tech and midwife told me I was probably five weeks instead of 6 and the baby was probably too tiny to see, I wasn't alarmed. It was when they handed me the lab order and those terrible words were on there. I freaked! I gave them a piece of my mind today, letting them know next time they should prepare their patient prior to giving them the paper & also to educate their patient on wh their blood is being taken and why they have to go get it drawn again in 2 days (which they did not mention to me at all).
