Is this just baby acne or something else? What will help it?

All three of my sons have been very sensitive to dairy. They looked exactly like that until I eliminated it from my diet. Does it seem to flare up right after eating and then recede if he takes a nap and doesn't eat for a few hours? Does he get eczema in the creases of his neck elbow and baby wrinkles? He might be too young for that yet. Once my first one got really chubby, that's where it was the worst with his milk allergy.

If it is a milk allergy don't worry. Most babies are allergic to milk until they're 2 or so. They usually outgrow it pretty quickly. Once the babies start eating solid food it can actually be a good thing. If they can't eat anything processed with dairy you really can make sure that they're eating clean from food you make at home. It's just kind of annoying to not be able to eat dairy when you are breastfeeding.

It could also be something that you ate. Are you breastfeeding?

Put some breastmilk on it. If it clears up overnight its acne.

From my experience it looks like an allergy reaction. This is how my sons looked. Had to switch laundry detergents and be careful with perfumes. My little girls baby acne is white bumps not red.
