IUD's and periods??

Question

I just got my IUD (Jaydess) inserted about 3 weeks ago and I was wondering when I should expect to get my period? I asked my doctor/did some research but I haven't really found anything that answers my question. If anyone has/had an IUD and can help that'd be great!!

What I was told by my doctor was that your period could either completely disappear or show up irregularly. I've had my IUD for a little over 6 months now and I haven't had a period since I got it inserted until these last 3 days. It was very light though. So it just depends on who you are. You could either not get your period at all or have it come irregularly. So you won't ever really
Be able to plan when it comes but when t does it's just spotting. Nothing heavy

My period did a no show and I got the IUD inserted right after my period left the month before

I don't get my Period and I have an IUD and my said it is normal for that to happen.
