Did anyone bleed when they got their cervix checked

Question

Doctor checked cervix today said he could feel the head & not to worry about the bleeding from the check. Is this going to happen everytime? 38 weeks 5 days along. Anyone have a similar experience?

I was just checked today for the first time and I bled afterwards. I got home from the appt after about 20 minutes and was bleeding with some smaller "clots". It's been 4 more hours now and I've just had a couple spots on a liner now. My dr did warn me and he was right!

I didn't but my doctor said its normal if you you bleed a little afterwards.
