Blood tests?

Not long ago, I had my blood drawn and the results showed that I had hyperthyroidism.... Well I'm only 20 and my doctor thought that was super weird, so we tried again. Then the results came back negative-- that I didn't have it. What could've caused it to show positive and then negative?

It is possible for the first test to be faulty. I work in the medical field and I actually run TSH test often. If the blood serum sat on the clot to long before the test was run the result can be faulty.

That should have been a question to ask your doctor right away when that happened. Can you call him/her up and address the results and your concerns? I hope you're able to get some answers.
