And if that isn't enough to make me ashamed to call myself a Michigander, they still haven't done ANYTHING about the Flint water crisis. They just keep "looking in to it" even though it's been going on since August. It's like they're just putting it aside and brushing it under the rug while they pass these other dumb laws. They haven't even brought in the Red Cross or the like to bring in fresh water for the citizens of Flint! They've done nothing!

It's almost like my state is saying that what you do in the bedroom with another consenting adult is more important than people - - children and adults alike - having WATER.

I know there's not an actual connection between the two, but both just really piss me off  and I wanted to vent about how much I hate what my home state has become.
