Couldn't of asked for a better super bowl Sunday!! At 39+2 my water broke at 4am but I only had about 8 contractions. So... Back to bed I went. I thought I would of had awhile before my little man was on his way so we took our time and got to the hospital around 11am. Low and behold I was 3cm dilated and fully effaced so we started pitocin and then bam I was at 6cm and ready for the epidural. The epidural was definitely not as bad as I thought it would be. The only part that hurt was the local anesthesia they used to numb my back! By 9pm I was ready to push and within 25 min - I got to meet my beautiful baby boy. Weighing in at 7.5lbs and 20" long,  I'm in love!!!
