Braxton hicks?

I'm 18 +1 today and have had braxton hicks past 2 days is this normal?

How do we know that it's Braxton hicks!? I'm confused. I'm pregnant with first child (twins) so it's all new to me. I've had cramps, or what I relate to being bad period pain...but this usually occurs before my tummy gets a bit bigger so it's been my uterus stretching right?

I'm 15 weeks and have been noticing them more often. This is my 4 th child.

Also , its more common when you're dehydrated.

I've been having them for a few weeks now. I'm 16 weeks but this is my third child. Braxton hicks start around 6 weeks and aren't noticeable until you're further along. So yes it's totally normal.
