Overweight?

Question

Anyone starting out overweight?  I am 5'4" . 170lbs. I am hoping not to gain too much. This is my 4th pregnancy but in starting out the biggest.

I'm 5'6 and 226. I have been working out and eating better and losing weight and now I'm pregnant.  I was hoping since I am already a big girl  that I won't gain much weight. Plus I'm nervous about having complications.

I'm 5"4 and 200 pounds. I didn't really lose the weight from my first pregnancy and I'm scared because I checked my BMI and its 33 or 34 which is obese 😫 I'm trying to watch what I eat and walk for at least 30 minutes a day so my doctor doesn't say I'm not trying! I hope this brings some encouragement to you ladies that we can do it! :) we'll loose the weight eventually and its all about a healthy baby right now. Let's just all try to be stress free and take a stroll for a bit and don't forget your water! On a positive note it will encourage you to drink water and enjoy nature :)

Same boat. This is my 2nd and I only lost 20 of the 60 I gained with my first. I banked WAY too much on losing weight by nursing. I was the opposite.

I'm really worried about my weight so I've been watching my diet and upping my activity. I don't want high blood pressure or gestational diabetes.

Yes.   4th baby here,  completely not planned.   I am 5'4, 200 pounds which is heavier than I have ever been. I was having thyroid issues and starting to exercise.   I ironically went off my birth control because it was making me gain weight.   Ha ha.  My tubal was supposed to be in March.

Oh yes, this is my 4th I'm 5'4 and 156 pounds. Usually  I would loose atleast 15 lbs at the beginning  of pregnancy, but this time I'm only gaining. What sucks more is that breastfeeding causes me to gain weight, like 20 lbs worth of weight. I'm not looking  forward  to that. I can't imagine  putting on 30 pounds  with pregnancy  as well.  But hey  this baby is worth it.

Yup 5'4" 158 lbs hoping to not gain much. This is also my fourth pregnancy. I know baby will be healthy regardless of my weight. I was 98 lbs when I have my first one bc I was so sick. She was a healthy 7 lbs 7 oz.

I am! I am 228 lbs and about 5'5 or so! I actually lost weight so I could get pregnant! Apparently being in the 220 range is baby making weight for me! I was 257 back in October 2015! I was 225 when I got pregnant with my first!

I am terrified to gain to much weight. I am 5'6 145 and really wanted to start out lower than that. I know that a healthy pregnancy the average weight gain is 25-35 pounds. I want to try and be on the lower end of that. I want to keep up my  exercise routine of yoga and maybe add more walking. It will be great to support each other along the way. Maybe we can start a closed group??

Same here, I am 5'2" and 168 lbs. This is the heaviest I've ever been and am at 6w3d. I am definitely trying to eat healthier and be more active now that I know I'm pregnant. I am just afraid I will get bigger as I get farther along.
